Overnight at  Kahawa House

After breakfast, you drive 130 kilometers from Arusha to the west where the Lake Manyara is situated. Your eyes will be opened to the variety of colors and characteristics of Tanzania as you travel; you may even see some Maasai shepherds moving their goat flocks to fresh pastures. On arrival, we continue in our vehicle to cover the highlights of this scenic view of Lake Manyara. It set against the rugged Rift Valley escarpment, and characterized by its shimmering lake, Manyara is rich in vegetation and the wildlife that thrives here. Enjoy the tranquility as majestic pink flamingos wade elegantly, picking out a meal of algae from the shallow, alkaline waters. On land, Manyara’s terrain is compact, yet boasts differing environments such as diverse forests fed by waters seeping from the nearby escarpment. Monkeys are abundant, but look out too for the lions, giraffe, warthog and grumpy Cape buffalo who all call this park ‘home’. Hold your nose when you reach the hippo pool, because these big lumps smell!

You take lunch at the Lake Manyara picnic sites, before setting out on a further game drive till before sunset and you’ll drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House

After breakfast, with the Serengeti as your destination and your mind filled with wonderful memories of Manyara, you set out on (222km) journey to the north and west, following the well-known Rift Valley. On the way, you will be enchanted by the colors of everyday Tanzanian life, the different faces of the tribesmen, their herds, and the bustle of the transport, the vibrant roadside stalls and markets. Soon, however, the human habitation gives way to the Serengeti plains.

At long last! The Serengeti, Tanzania's unmatched wonder, will serve as the backdrop for the wild animal performances that will take place over the next days. Your game drive here combines the known with the unknown, the certainty that you will be amazed with the uncertainty of exactly what you will see and when. Changing light, a changing cast of animal actors, ensuring that at every turn there is a new experience. Take some great pictures, but don't forget to simply take a moment to breathe deeply and soak in the unadulterated beauty of nature.

Overnight at Serengeti Pure Luxury Camp

You’ll have two full day of discovery, a chance to enjoy the varied landscapes of the Central Serengeti. Both morning and afternoon are spent on safari in the Serengeti. The annual great migration is undoubtedly the Serengeti's most well-known characteristic, despite the fact that it is home to a wide range of wildlife. Every year, enormous herds of antelope, zebra, and wildebeest travel a predictable route in search of new grazing. The exact location and timing of the migration are determined by each year's rainfall patterns. After a full day of close contact with the Serengeti's wild animals and nature, we spend the night at the lodge

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Crater (160 kms) for full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. You will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Overnight Ngorongoro at Farm HOUSE

Early-breakfast, and thereafter with your packed lunch boxes drive south to Tarangire National Park ( 200kms) for full day game drive. Tarangire is big. It reaches as far as the eye can see to the south when you stand at the park's entrance. This extraordinary park, also known as the "Elephant Garden," is home to sizable herds of these powerful animals. But Tarangire is also home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle and the park can rival Serengeti for sheer animal densities. What might you see today? Perhaps a solitary male lion stretched out beneath a tree, perhaps a trio of male cheetah enjoying some lazy bonding-time in the sun. Maybe some graceful Grant’s gazelle or zebra bounding away from the road or a couple of giraffes munching happily from the choicest acacia branches. In the late afternoon before sunset you’ll end your game drive and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight Tarangire at Tarangire Honey Camp

You may have thought that you have seen all that Tarangire has to offer, but you will certainly enjoy some new experiences as we explore the park further in our full day game-drive.

The varied terrain in itself could be considered a wonder, with riverine woodlands and grasslands, acacia and baobab. Amazingly, some 550 bird species have been recorded here, and it won’t be long before an air-bound blaze of color alerts you to something interesting. You might recognize an ostrich or a stork, but if you can’t identify the smaller species, there’s no need to worry – that is what your expert driver-guide is here for!

The birds are exotic and so are the names: what about the ‘white-bellied go-away bird’ or the ‘Madagascar bee-eater’ for example? But of course, we will also see plenty more large mammals on a typical day.
